Shipping and Delivery Policy

Brahmionline strives to deliver the products to customers’ doorstep in good condition and in shortest time possible. Products ordered by you will be shipped from our warehouse in Bengaluru, India.

Shipping Time

We indicate the “expected time of delivery” in our order-acknowledgement communication to customers. Consignment would be delivered to the address given at the time of booking orders. Your orders normally get processed within 2- 3 business days and reach you within 5-7 days. However, orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or on national holidays. Also, shipments may get delayed in case of any digital glitches, transit issues or natural obstacles. In case of a delay in shipment, we try to keep you notified via email, telephone or SMS. 

Shipping Address

The products will be shipped to your address given at the time of order booking. No change of delivery address is entertained after you book the order and you get a confirmation message of your order booking. Shipment receipt will need to be signed upon delivery by the person who ordered it or any family members or suggested alternative person by the customer. But Brahmionline takes no responsibility for goods signed by the alternative person in the given address. Web services/SMS/WhatsApp will be utilized for confirming the status of delivery.

Shipping rates

Brahmionline offers free delivery for orders of Rs. 999 or more (Not applicable on all products). For orders below Rs. 999, the shipping rate may vary according to the delivery location. Shipping charges for liquid items may change as the liquid items may be sent through roadways which attract higher shipping charges.

Express delivery is only available for orders with delivery addresses within Bangalore and to some locations in India on special request and prior information. Shipping charges for such express deliveries will be applied as per logistic partner tariffs. Contact our customer care for express delivery.

Shipment Confirmation and Order tracking

Reputed and efficient courier/last mile delivery agencies are deployed for seamless and fast service. We shall keep you updated with a shipment confirmation email containing the details of tracking number. Customs, Duties, GST and other taxes as applicable from time to time may be applied to your order as per government norms. These amounts are to be borne by the customer (purchaser) unless specified by us. You can track the shipping once you receive the shipping confirmation communication by our logistics partner.

Shipment mode

Your orders will be shipped through reputed courier companies or India Post. Some liquid items may be shipped through road transport.

Possible delays / Force Majeure

In usual circumstances, Brahmionline leaves no stone unturned to deliver your products on or before the promised date. However, in some rare cases of national holidays, strikes, unforeseen circumstances like heavy rain, storms or natural calamities; accessibility to the area-to-be delivered; shipping partner policies; wrong address or unavailability of stock, the delivery may get delayed by invoking the force majeure clause as below.  Some orders with liquid products also may be delayed as the consignment need to be sent through surface transport.

“Force Majeure” means  the occurrence of an event or circumstance (“Force Majeure Event”) that prevents or impedes a party from performing one or more of its contractual obligations under the contract, if and to the extent that the party affected by the impediment (“the Affected Party”) proves: a) that such impediment is beyond its reasonable control; and b) that it could not reasonably have been foreseen at the time of the conclusion of the contract; and c) that the effects of the impediment could not reasonably have been avoided or overcome by the Affected Party.

Brahmionline may not be responsible for any delay occurred after the goods leave the premises of the company and its warehouse.

Customer Complaints

Any complaints regarding delivery issues need to be sent to us in writing or email within 2 business days of your order delivery. Any complaints received thereafter may not be entertained by the company. For contact details please see the Contact section of our website.
